NIFON is a non-commercial social organization, which
has registered in 2008 (2065 B.S.) with District Administration
office and social welfare council, Kathmandu, Nepal.
NIFON came into existence with ideal motto "love
the children, Respect the women, and save the environment
(does more according to it's objectives". NIFON
will always strive to move forward for which it was
established. The convention on the right of children
which came to force in 1989 and was signed by Nepal
in 1990. Since then, there have been more than one
decade but no desired outcome could be achieved and
children's situation in the rural areas than in the
urban area is very alarming. We'll strive harder to
urge all to serenely think about the deteriority of
children, NIFON will endeavor to overcome ever-changing
circumstances and persistently work with intuitive
sprit and enthusiasm. The fundamentals of NIFON are
to live for other and the nation and our slogan will
be "Peace, Creation and Development". Our
mainstream will be on the upliftmet of orphan children,
elimination of child labor and maintaining the environmental
balance so as to preserving natural and cultural heritage.
World today is changing very fast and man's life is
becoming very complex. Therefore all human beings
are required healthy environment for healthy living.
It is the human beings who can change the existence
of environment through their activities.
NIFON is situated in the Himalayan country Nepal
(between India and Tibet) which is one of the poorest
countries in the world. With 31% of the population
currently living below the defined poverty line of
US$1 per day. Likewise the first victims of these
situations are he children. It is estimated that in
Nepal. One child in twelve under the age of seventeen
is an orphan as a result of all causes, including
AIDS. The organization gives its support to children
in need without any consideration of religion or caste.
Behind this project there is a very small committee
with the main role of Mr. Sangya Dorje Lama. He has
started this project with three poor children by providing
them food, accommodation and education in the beginning.
Now a days NIFON is registered with District Administration
office and social welfare council, Kathmandu Nepal.
This organization is legally capable to welcome more
neglected and poor children in order to build up their
social carrier through the educational expeditions
with the help of the donations from Nepal and foreign.

NIFON's vision of the future is a
society where the children's rights are fully respected
with ample opportunity for their sustainable development
and participation irrespective of their religion, sex,
caste, etc. We focus our view to the contribution of
cultural heritage, widespread awareness for the conservation
of natural resources, to be augmented among the people
with or without support of other NGOS or INGOS. |

NIFON works to create a better future
for vulnerable and under-privileged children who are
found to be in difficult stage. It supports the children
to improve their condition and prevent them from going
into difficult circumstances. We have a sound mission
active to work for the promotion of children right and
environmental conservation. All the members of NIFON,
as it may are dedicated to the accomplishment of objectives
as set forth. |

Priority is given to women for
membership in NIFON. But all gender are welcome to the
member of NIFON with individual interest and sprit and

duty-bound to work under the able administration and

of Director with utmost initiative and Zeal. |
